I needed a quick to get computer desk for my son who came home from college with a very large and heavy 27” CRT monitor he likes because of the color clarity. This desk was great. I had built him a keyboard holder for under his school desk and it was easily adapted to work with this desk with just one cut from my table saw. My only long term concern is the screws which hold the lower back support on the desk that go into particle board. If you over tighten these fasteners, you could strip out the wood they hold to so don’t over tighten. Just make them snug. I did look at IKEA but what they had that was similar was out of stock. My son likes this desk a lot as the size/footprint is great for his computer system. Most desks are great for light weight laptops, but if you have a computer that has a lot of weight, this is a great desk if your are willing to add a keyboard tray to it. Amazon has lots of good choices for keyboard trays.This desk was just what I needed for working from home. Super easy to put together. It was missing one of the screws but didn’t take away from the integrity of the structure of the desk. Great value for the price. Follow the instructions and you’ll be fine. Plenty of leg room. Lots of desk space. Wish it had at least one drawer but I knew that before purchasing. The under desk bookshelf is perfect for extra space. Wish I’d bought it when I first started working from home. It’s a must buy.As far as desks go, the assembly on this one is exceedingly simple from the stand point that all the bolts have ONE Allen key to drive them with, and so that makes things pretty easy. The problem isn’t the simplicity. it’s that whomever is welding the metal frames that support the shelf and table top, are doing so with reckless abandon. Not to mention that this desk for being new, seemed to have been assembled once before.That said when I went to assemble it, the table top mounting holes were all pretty square, but when you went to attach the legs and the shelves, you had to bend the metal legs to shape as they were off about about 22 degrees from perpendicular. It made the table top fitting a bit difficult. Once I had it all together I had to use the leveling feet to make it stable. It’s a good desk for the money and very sturdy. It’s just that the pieces will have to be bent to shape and if you do not have the benefit of a perfectly crafted set of parts, you are going to be scratching your head as to why nothing fits.Took about 20 minutes to put it together.Muy lindoThis desk was perfect for what I needed. I was shopping for months and started to purchase a similar desk for $200 more than this one… I am glad I found this before I commented to my other option. This desk is doing what I need it to do for the small space I use it. Get it.Great Solid , Sturdy desk at a very decent price .Read the other review about bending metal. Please note - They must of put the lower shelf on incorrectly because if placed correctly fits perfect with ease and plenty of room .Must buy! Very pleasedPerfect size for what I needed. Sturdy and simple assembly.Way better than expected. Amazingly sturdy and the fit is as close to perfect as it could be. It was packaged very well too and assembled in just a few minutes.
